Minimalist survivalism - is there such a thing? Actually, that's one of the names I considered for this blog.

I actually thought I invented the term, but after doing a quick search on the NET, discovered I'm not the only one. I found other blogs, websites and forums filled with people writing, discussing and talking about being a minimalistic survivalist.

Minimalist or Survivalist or Both?

There is a fine line between getting rid of stuff and decluttering a la Marie Kondo, making the decision of living with less (minimalism) and having enough gear in your bug out bag to survive in the event of the apocalypse.

If minimalist met survivalist, what would you get?

What's your take on minimalist survivalism - real, fake, possible, impossible, a contradictory figure of speech (AKA an oxymoron)?

Take care,
